In Memoriam: Rev. Daniel Trejo, Father of ILM President Rev. Roberto Trejo Haager

The Grand Canyon Synod joins the Iglesia Luterana Mexicana in mourning the death of Rev. Daniel Trejo, father of ILM Pastor President Rev. Roberto Trejo Haager, who died on December 1. A wake and devotional were held on December 2, and the funeral took place on December 3. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

After numerous Covid-thwarted attempts to arrange a visit, we are blessed that our 2022 Synod Assembly features a visit from Rev. Roberto Trejo Haager, Pastor President of the Mexican Lutheran Church (Iglesia Luterana Mexicana, ILM).

We look forward to worshipping with Pastor Trejo Haager and hearing updates on our companions in Mexico.

As we deepen our relationship with the Mexican Lutheran Church (ILM), we revisit this article from the Lutheran World Federation, featuring Rev. Roberto Trejo Haager, Pastor President of the ILM. Trejo will be our guest at the 2021 Bishop’s Fall Gathering.

We’re excited to share updates on our 2021 Bishop’s Fall Gathering, as we gather under the theme: The Power of Story. We have hotel reservation info for our October 18-20, 2021 event at All Saints Lutheran Church in Phoenix. Registration is $50.
