Take Action Now: LAMA Urges Advocacy on Voting Rights and Upcoming Events
Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Arizona (LAMA), an advocacy ministry of the Grand Canyon Synod, invites you to stay informed, take action, and engage in faithful public witness through this week’s newsletter.
At the center of this week’s update is an urgent ELCA Action Alert:
Reject Voting Barriers and Oppose the SAVE America Act
As the U.S. Senate prepares to take up this legislation, the ELCA urges Lutherans to speak out in support of protecting voting rights and ensuring equitable access to the democratic process.
In addition to advocacy, LAMA highlights several upcoming opportunities for learning, connection, and engagement:

As Lutherans, we confess that faith is active in love. Advocacy is one way we live out our baptismal call—seeking justice, defending the dignity of all people, and participating in the common good.
We encourage you to read the full newsletter, take action on the current alert, and share these opportunities within your congregation and networks.
