As you arrive and settle into Synod Assembly, Thursday afternoon offers a relaxed and flexible opportunity to connect with synod staff, ask questions, share ideas, and begin conversations before the Assembly formally begins.

During registration hours from 2:00–5:00 PM on Thursday, members of the synod staff will be available for informal Synod Office Hours. Whether you have questions about ministry, candidacy, communications, advocacy, generosity, congregational vitality, or simply want to introduce yourself, you are invited to stop by.

Come with something specific in mind—or simply come to connect.

Available during Office Hours:

  • Rev. Jacqueline Pagel — Bishop’s Associate for Candidacy and Faith Formation, Room  #42 in the CoC

  • Rev. Dan Potaznick — Director of Generosity and Strategic Development, Room #17 Preschool Building

  • Brian Flatgard — Director of Communications, Green Room in the CoC

  • Solveig Muus — Director, Lutheran Advocacy Ministry Arizona, Youth Room in the CoC

  • Rev. David Pavesic — Director for Evangelical Mission (DEM), Outreach Room, Preschool Building

Rev. Pavesic will also be available for conversation around congregational vitality, mission, and the changing realities facing congregations and communities across our synod.

As we gather under the theme “Rooted in God’s Story,” this afternoon is intended as a welcoming space for conversation, relationship-building, listening, and shared imagination for the work ahead.
