Workshop Proposal Submissions

We are now accepting workshop proposals for the 2026 Grand Canyon Synod Assembly.

Each year, workshops provide space for learning, equipping, and faithful imagination. Under this year’s theme, “Rooted in God’s Story,” we invite proposals that help rostered ministers and lay leaders deepen their grounding in Scripture, Lutheran theology, congregational leadership, justice, stewardship, spiritual care, innovation, and practical ministry tools.

We are seeking one-hour workshops that:

  • Equip congregations for faithful ministry in today’s context

  • Offer practical tools, resources, or models

  • Address spiritual, theological, justice-oriented, or leadership themes

  • Encourage resilience, collaboration, and rootedness in Christ

Proposal Deadline

Submit your proposal by March 31, 2026.

The Workshop Team will review submissions and notify presenters by mid-April.

  • Workshop title

  • Brief description (150–250 words)
