A Heartfelt Thank You to Our 2024 Lenten Challenge Participants

As we end our journey through Lent, a season of reflection and renewal, we are deeply grateful for each one of you who has joined the 2024 Lenten Challenge. Together, synods across Region 2 are embodying the spirit of giving, commitment, and community, all while supporting the vital work of ELCA World Hunger in its 50th year of mission and ministry.

This year, we invited you to embrace spiritual and physical practices that not only enrich your Lenten journey but also contribute to a cause greater than ourselves. With activities ranging from daily devotions and disciplines to decluttering and donations, your participation is making a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

It's heartwarming to see individuals and congregations from Sierra Pacific, Southwest California, Pacifica, Grand Canyon, and Rocky Mountain synods coming together for this purpose.

If you haven't yet signed up for the Challenge or made a donation to ELCA World Hunger, it's not too late! Lent is a season of ongoing transformation, and every action counts. Whether you're able to commit to three of the four practices or simply wish to contribute financially, your participation is valuable and deeply appreciated.

Let's continue to support one another as we strive to embody the Word in our daily lives. Together, we can reach our goal of representing 50 congregations per synod and celebrate the collective impact of our efforts.

Thank you for being a part of this meaningful journey. Let's keep the momentum going and show the world the power of faith in action.
