Prepare for Churchwide Assembly with Online Bible Studies

All are invited to take part in a series of online Bible studies on Wednesday evenings in July (July 9, 16, 23), designed to engage voting members and the wider church in the themes of the 2025 ELCA Churchwide Assembly: “For the Life of the World.” Each session explores a different lens—climate justice, gender justice, and war/conflict and reconciliation:

  • July 9: Willie Korboi on climate justice

  • July 16: Deacon Clare Josef-Maier on gender justice

  • July 23: Rev. Atahualpa Hernández Miranda on reconciliation

More information and registration details will be available at www.ELCA.org/cwa. The assembly itself will take place July 28–Aug. 2 in Phoenix, with worship and plenary sessions livestreamed at the same site.
