utheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW) is looking for an interim Volunteer Coordinator. The interim Volunteer Coordinator will offer support towards the LSS-SW goal of embracing a volunteer culture. This individual will seek out and utilize the talents and resources of the community to assist LSS-SW programs. This person will support both in-kind and volunteer services, with a focus on administrative and customer service-related functions, as well as a focus on the Christmas gift giving program’s preparation and support. Requirements for the candidate include:

• Project management skills that include attention to detail, organizing, multi-tasking, prioritizing

• Excellent customer service skills, team player, strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work with diverse populations across program areas including congregations.

• Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, navigate databases, internet, and email.

• Holding LSS-SW core values including willingness to embrace change, personal responsibility, and collaboration.

• Ability to clear a criminal background check.

Part Time, 20 hrs./week

The duration of the interim volunteer coordinator responsibilities will range from roughly August 16th to December 6th.
